Cataract surgery

At Hills Eye Surgery, your Cataract Surgery can be organised, from the initial consultation and surgical assessment to all your post-op/ after care visits.

Prior to Cataract Surgery all the necessary calculations for your new intraocular lens will be performed. 

The Cataract Surgery itself is not performed on the premises of Hills Eye Surgery, it is performed at Epping Surgery Centre as an outpatient, which means you will be there for a few hours & will not be required to stay overnight.

You will then be required to attend follow up checks after your Cataract surgery, at Hills Eye Surgery on: 

• one day, after Cataract Surgery
• one week, after Cataract Surgery
• one month, after Cataract Surgery
• any further follow up as needed

When you book in for Cataract Surgery, a patient information booklet will be provided to you, which contains more information on Cataract Surgery. You will have the opportunity to ask any questions regarding the procedure at your consultation.
