Retinal Laser

Retinal Laser treatment is performed on site at Hills Eye Surgery.

Retinal laser treatment is used to treat the following eye conditions:

Retinal tears, to prevent a Retinal Detachment from occurring.
Diabetic eye disease to treat swelling of the macula (macular oedema) due to leaking retinal blood vessels or to stop abnormal new blood vessels from leaking/growing at the back of the eye, which can occur in proliferative diabetic eye disease.
some patients with Macular degeneration (wet AMD)
some patients with Retinal Vein Occlusion
