YAG Laser
YAG Laser treatment is performed on site at Hills Eye Surgery.
YAG Laser which stands for Yttrium Aluminium Garnet, which is a crystal located within the laser used for the procedure
YAG Laser is used to treat the following eye conditions:
- Posterior capsular opacification, which is a condition that develops in some patients post Cataract surgery resulting in reduced or blurry vision, occurring anywhere from months to years following Cataract Surgery.
- Patients with narrow angles/Angle Closure Glaucoma, via a Laser Iridotomy procedure, which creates a small opening in the coloured portion of the eye (iris).
